Utah Medicaid is changing its phone system downtime schedule. Effective April 8, 2024, many of the Utah Medicaid call center groups will begin a new schedule where phone downtime will be on Tuesdays from 8 - 11 am instead of Thursdays.
The Pharmacy prior authorization team, the Restriction program, and HPRs will not be moving to the new Tuesday phone downtime schedule. The PRISM system is available so providers can still access this information, as well as verify member eligibility online.
