Enrollment in Managed Care Plans
-
-
Some behavioral health services are covered by a Managed Care Plan or a Prepaid Mental Health Plan (PMHP). This means, members must get services from providers who are in the plan’s network. Members are enrolled in a Prepaid Mental Health Plan based on the county they live in and are enrolled in a Managed Care Plan based on eligibility.
-
For information on the Utah Medicaid’s Managed Care Plans, please visit the Managed Care webpage.
-
For some members, behavioral health services are covered by fee for service Medicaid which means Medicaid directly pays providers that accept fee for service Medicaid members. A member with fee for service (FFS) Medicaid must see a provider who accepts fee for service network members.
