Dental Coverage and Plans
Dental care is free for all Medicaid members. There is no co-pay for covered services. We want to make it easy for you to keep your smile healthy.
Who is covered?
Kids and young adults (under age 21)
- Through the EPSDT program (Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment), you get dental care from birth all the way until your 21st birthday. This program focuses on finding and treating health problems early.

Pregnant and postpartum members
- You are covered during your pregnancy and for 12 months after your baby is born.
Adults (ages 21+)
- Dental care is covered for all adults.
What dental services are covered?
At a minimum, Medicaid covers:
- Regular check-ups and cleanings
- Fillings
- Pain and infection relief
How to find a dentist
There are many dentists across the state who are ready to see you. Here are three easy ways to find one in your area:
- View the Medicaid Dental Provider List (English & Spanish)
- Go to InsureKidsNow.gov to search by your zip code
- Call a Health Program Representative (HPR) at 1-866-608-9422
