In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Division of Medicaid and Health Financing is actively working to address the concerns and needs of Medicaid members and providers. Below are some helpful Coronavirus resources:
Member Information
Below please find some recent Member updates:
Medicaid Eligibility: In response to the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, Utah Medicaid will not close any Medicaid cases that were eligible as of March 18, 2020. These cases, or members, will continue to receive benefits through the end of this emergency period. Members will be notified at that time if their case will change or close.
CHIP Premiums: CHIP premiums will be waived during this emergency period and CHIP members will not be required to pay their quarterly premium. Any premiums collected during this emergency period will be refunded to the member.
