Utah’s Medicaid Reform 1115 Demonstration
2027-2032 Renewal

The Utah Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Integrated Healthcare will hold public hearings to discuss the 2027-2032 Renewal to Utah's Medicaid Reform 1115 Demonstration. The Department will also accept public comments regarding the amendment online, by email, or mail during the public comment period from April 21, 2026, through May 21, 2026.

Utah Medicaid is requesting authority from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to renew Utah’s Medicaid Reform 1115 Demonstration for an additional five years (2027-2032).

Public Hearings:

The Department will conduct two public hearings to discuss the renewal. The dates and times are listed below.

• Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, during the Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC) meeting.
