On July 1, 2017, the Medicaid income limit for adults with children in their household will increase. Parents with dependent children earning up to 60% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) may be eligible for Medicaid. This is part of the health coverage improvement plan as directed by House Bill 437 (2016 General Session) to expand the adult eligibility group.
Many adults who are now on the Primary Care Network (PCN) program will move to Medicaid. Before this transition from PCN to Medicaid is made, the Department of Workforce Services (DWS) may ask members to provide more information.
